2nd of july is when I had my progress test 2 done and off to do "qualifyingcross-country". you get to fly to various checkpoints throughout the southern England. The rule is to navigate and get to land to two different aerodromes and fly to at least a distance of 200nm.

The route went well but summer can be unforgiving and something happened but its gonna be hard for me to explain. I took off from Southend airport but the door wasnt locked properly. Cutting to the chase, I had to make a pan call

imagine, I have to land with one hand gripping onto the door and one hand trying to land the aircraft. a visualization for you.

the screwed up bit was that an emergency firetruck came right behind my aeroplane as I landed. The fuel for just 1 minute of driving that truck would cost around 50 pounds if Im not mistaken. I parked the aircraft and the fireman was very hospitable about the situation....stupid door... Then, I flew off unscathed.

Silverstone

ate a banana and a downed a bottle of coke

and yeah, that is what happened and it took about a total of 5 hours of flying plus 15 minute break and the door incident. Next is off to fly in the DA-40. Reminds me of my cousin calling me "Ahmad Albab" which indirectly means you have something to do with doors.. I used to bang my head to a door until i have bruises that looked like bee stings right across my head.

Used to live in a rented house back in the 90's. I lived in a two storey house in Jerudong. There's a door in one of the bedrooms that I want to see one more time. That door is when I always bash my head into when I didnt get my wish granted.... manja tah jua banar. bah atu saja..

Watched three movies from the past three weeks..

first up is Angels and Demons

The synopsis is about an american professor who specializes in Italian Ancient histories especially the thing about 'popes."

He doesnt believe in a religion but ironically he ended saving a religion

Thats the summary of the movie.. not going to spoil it
To put it in different terms i would say that this movie is like the amazing race for the italian historians

the thing that amazes me from the movie was the symmetrical wordings..
Angels and demons, Illuminati and Earth-air-fire-water..
okay, if only you could just tilt your head upside down you could see the same words but against gravity!this movie is a 3 out of 5

okay this movie is straight out the best movie i have ever seen... This movie is so good that if drinking is allowed, i would've just drank my ass off that night.. it is so good that it didn't go downhill.. it went uphill hahahaa
meet four guys. Alan, Stu, Phil and Doug. Doug is going to get married one day and these four guys decided to go Las Vegas to have a Bachelor Party...
All hell broke loose and confusion ensues..
There was a tiger, Mike Tyson , Carrot Top, a baby even (note that Doug is not the baby from the poster above) and a chinese mobster. This is straight up a five star feel good movie. No doubt about it..

Last and not least is Transformers 2:Revenge of the fallen. Megan fox was there and so was Shia La Beouf.. Okay, the movie transformer stayed true from the animated series back in the 90's.. like the minicons... the biker transformers.. which i forgot the names haha oh oh and there is a transformer called the 'pretenders' the actress is Isabel Lucas and did she ever shine
that is one hot looking chick. She is Australian, checked it in Wikipedia hahaha...who would've thought.. a girl that can change accent.. fuhhh~~ dayuuummmmm!!

Back to the movie I must admit that the actions are too much.. Micheal Bay just dont know how to stop but still he did not lose his touch and bringing the action was the main course of the day I would give it a four out of five

That being said i borrowed a magazine from Aiman called the Film. It was a month back and I saw this amazing looking person in one of their exclusive interviews yet... Megan fox. She was being interviewed on what she thinks about Transformers new movie and this is what she has to say

"Transformers is what it is. Everybody should shut the f*** up and go have fun"

hahahaha ok now from last month nothing much happened except for the fact that:

a new colleague of ours came about 2 months now but its rude of me to not introduce him to all y'all (antahhhhh english ah)

that's an english instructor but wait the guy above him is Roslie Rasit. He used to be one of the BSP's helicopter captains working for 10 years. Now, he's converting to a fixed wing pilot.

thats what we did for the past month nothing special really.. routine stuff wake up early go to school 'A-check" the aircraft

nineteen hundred hours eat dinner

no wonder i gained 5 kilos hahahhaha... So far things have gone the way it should be...

the things that had happened in the last 30 days:

01. I passed my exam (burying that friggin hatchet to the ground)

02. One of my classmates went back to his hometown which is in Kuwait.. okay2 it would be rude for me not to introduce him..

I've been studying my ass off since last week and im still scared of the exam. Everything is on the line come to think of it.. The whole situation is so ironic since my exam schedule would be on the:

and at the same time those dates are my dad's and my sister's birthday respectively... Talk about family affair huh..

Door A If I pass, I continue my course, get the license

Door B I fail, go back home and god knows what would happen

Back in 2005 when i was waiting for my o level results, I didnt do anything.. I didn't do work, charity whatever. Eat, Sleep, tv.. Then one day, my mom saw this Channel showcasing Bruneian portrait drawers....

"Mat!!! kemari!! ada org pandai melukis baik kau kemari!! bertemu ramah ya!!" My mom shouted.

I saw this man drawing these oh so beautiful drawings..trees, mountains, faces...you name it.. They club members were published in the papers.. I was psyched up to join the club and I did. managed to learn some skills on how to draw. thanks Nabil.....So here are some of my artwork...Guess who these celebrities are and ill give the answer at the end of the post :D

and all of this i've done back in 2005. Its my hobby. Pleased to meet you :X I dont usually draw everytime.. When I absolutely have nothing to do.. I resort to this haha.. FRIENDS

i laughed my ass off watching this part haha

In the first few seasons he's a character that's too sensitive... compulsive, lets everybody down..there is even a time when he comes in a scene where he whines about relationships and all that. I just wanted to fast forward it so much but i had to watch it. Baby whiner grow up hahaha..

DEXTER LABORATORY???

Nope its not your saturday morning cartoon fix.. Its a show called DEXTER from the USA premium channel Showtime.. which happens to have shows like The Tudors and Californication (which im going to watch soon) :p damn, i wish i have cable tv haha

Its a show that'll make you bleed for more.. I cant get enough of it haha!!

Its a show that if you have the feeling to kill somebody(metaphorically speaking :p), just by watching this can settle your urges

Its a show that if you have a deep dark secret, watching this can make you feel your normal

Its a show that is so well scripted that im guessing it took them years to create this plot

oh yea, btw, the series is based from a novel by Jeff Lindsay(He's the creator... shiiittt)

a show where i would shout in shock/disbelieve/awe/excitement at the end of second half of the season (it gets grittier at the end).. fine by me :D

a little heads-up to the story.. Dexter Morgan (Micheal C.Hall) is a blood splatter analyst by day and a killer by night.. He kills people who were deemed not guilty in a trial case(e.g got away with murder) The thing is he knows how not to leave even the slightest piece of evidence since he's working in the police department and also he was under the guidance of his late father whom previously worked as a police officer himself...For me, it is hands down one of the most exciting TV series i've ever watched. Its up to season 3 now..

I have introduced it to Zudin and Abul Azeef and they liked it... a lot!! so, im introducing it to you guys out there.. so... whatsitgon'be?

VEHICLES

so its 11 am (starting to be a habit of mine :p) eh, I should do the 11 o clock news hahahaha. Okayyy, so the other day i was with Tim Sharland (our course manager)and we went to this storage place called the "LOK n STORE" to pick up the rest of my belongings. Then, I saw these vehicles parked near the place and it really did caught my eyes

Damn.... Tim said that it costs 300 pounds to rent one of these for a day and I had a thought to bring back the guys from the airport using one of these vehicles..... Ok, im officially bored up in this hell-hole... its 11 am and i've got nothing to do.. Oh yea, im in groundschool right now and im the only bruneian in the entire campus but there are some Malaysian families with their dads and uncles pursuing their Phd's and Master's Degree. tagur2 pulang tapi inda sampai lepak2.... jauh beza umur wah

A Trip To Remember

Last Sunday me and my mates went to Valencia sightseeing the place up.. It was my last chance to see the place and all i wanted to see was the stadium.. Kyle and Azeef didn't want to go.. So, the day went like this

checking the bags through one of the toughest security Stansted airport.. One of us had to pay an extra 100 plus pounds because his bags were in over 25 kilos over the limit.

Ironically, a famous airline company. There's a toilet seat for every passenger. i saw it in the brochures :P

After copying and pasting the meanings of Cryogenics from the ever-trusted Wikipedia.. i found out that it means and i quote "the study of the production of very low temperatures (below –150 °C, –238 °F or 123 K) and the behavior of materials at those temperatures."

from my understanding Cryogenics is:

where terminally-ill rich people freeze themselves so that future scientists may have found the cure to their disease
where the deceased have their organs removed and frozen so that it will not become 'used'
where foods are stored in refrigerators ( yea, like you care?)

from my understanding Kriyogenics is:

where a terminally-ill blogger ( presumably) stores his posts in the freezer so that when he is in his 30's he can still manage to work out a smile after 10 years whatever ahead is coming to be (that's bad english i know :p )
where the last syllable of his name appears in the first syllable of the heading of his blog

all things aside I (the blogger) would do his very best to create everyday calamity a living picturesque to all viewers yea? cheers
